We have traveled and lived throughout the world and are skilled on white water, rock, ice, and mountain bikes.

Joy Tessman, Director and Producer

Joy Tessman combines knowledge of global issues from work as a legislative aide focusing on the environment with insight from 12 years experience as an educator, including the prestigious Who's Who of American Teachers 2003 award, to create storytelling films with a global perspective. Her films have won audiences and awards around the world. She has lead and participated in expeditions to the USSR, Namibia, and indigenous cultures in Siberia, the new Russian Republics, Northern Pakistan, and Western China. Her photographic work is represented by National Geographic Image Sales. Joy is also an accomplished extreme sports athlete and musician.

Ed Hunsaker, Project Manager

Ed Hunsaker brings extensive production skills in film and television.

Paulo Castillo, Camera and Sound Production

Paulo Castillo is a highly skilled cameraman, an all-around athlete, and one of the world's best oarsmen. He has shot video on all seven continents, specializing in outdoor and expedition camera work. Much of his work has focused on the whitewater industry. National Geographic Television, ESPN, NBC, FOX, and OLN have all used his skill and expertise to transport viewers directly into the action. Paulo and the work of the film crew of SURVIVOR were recently nominated for an Emmy.
